Get them from Nexus mods. It's free. When you sign in, they ask you if you wanna pay into premium or prime or whatever. Just click continue or smt, without choosing a payment option. You'll register for free. Get the mod manager and you can use every mod on that site (thousands).

the nexus mod manager doesnt seem to be working
idk what its deal is it keeps telling me i need .net framework but i've got it
i browsed around some of the most popular mods but nothing really jumped out at me (call it vanilla if you want but this game isnt too easy on the hardest settings)

Get SkyRe and Deadly Dragons for sure.
Try it on legendary difficulty then.

The lighting/climate mods I used on my playthrough also make dungeons/nights a lot darker so you need lightsources or nightvision.

Was one shotting everything (seriously, EVERYTHING) with my archer on xbox360 when he was around lvl 40-ish.

Was still pumping dozens of arrows with poisons in dragons and really depending on my follower at lvl 40-ish on my Khajit on my pc playthrough.
