this makes no sense... in that kind of situation, you would want to prolong the battle until your leaders are out of the flames...... currently there are like 6 captains out there and 3 espadas... it'd be more profitable to wait it out and let the fires burn out.....not to mention he showed his enemy what his powers are (although he might have some reserves), but his enemy hasn't showed him their bankais yet..... less profitable for him

Stark is calm nature, just because he released doesn't mean he isn't.  He wasn't winning, neither of them were being serious yet.

i'm not wrong at all... i was arguing that stark isn't as calm as whoever i was responding to thinks and i'm right.. you guys are just stubborn.....i know just because he released doesn't mean he isn't calm... but whoever i was arguing with makes it out like stark is the calmest bitch alive, and i responded by saying no he's not as calm as you make him out to be

anyways... stark didn't release because he knew he couldn't win without using his resurrection... he CLEARLY released because he wants to see kyoraku's bankai.....that's the thing that hints he's not that calm, but he can get hot-blooded and anxious at times and act just to fulfill his desires.

Stark saw Hitsugaya's bankai and then kyouraku told him that his was even more powerful.  Stark knew that in the end he wouldn't have a snowballs chance to beat kyouraku if he used his bankai, so he released.  He may ahve been acting on his eagerness to see his bankai, but the fact is he realized he would never be able to win without releasing in the end.
