Uhmm we've seen him fight and he seems to hold is ground against MOST ppl. I don't see how an ex-shicibukai would be considred as a "rookie" for the new world.
I'm not saying hes GODLIKE but think he deserves a bit more credit :p

The only member who has joined the crew since sanji that had decent power was franky. And even then, he is still pretty low on the totem.

Jinbei is not god; we have seen him fight and he still loses to people.

He would be a good fit under sanji, most likely, to round out the crews offensive power. Which they will need in the new world, no doubt.

robin, chopper, nami, usopp, all support fighters imo.

Franky and brooke the only brawler types afaik minus main 3. And franky is stronger than brooke, most likely.
