Cover Page: Barragan Luisenbarn -- His pride knows no end!!

The manga starts with a completely black page. Barragan is speaking.

Barragan: How did it come to this? How could I have been defeated... no matter...

The manga shifts to the ground bellow the smoke-filled sky where Soifon's Jakuhō Raikōben had exploded.
Barragan's pendant is on the ground. It switches back to a completely black page.

Barragan: Segunda Resurrección!! Devore las manos del tiempo!! Arrogante!! (Second Resurrection!! Devour the hands of time!! Arrogante!!)

The manga switches back to the pendant. It rises into the air and dissolves. A swirling mass of smoke engulfs the entire area.
We see another black page, this time with a spirit-like entity (Barragan most likely) moving toward a bright light. (the artwork is extremely good on this page, but hard to describe).
Out of the smoke, we see a human-like hand pick up the fallen crown.

Hachi: I see... so that is the source of his power... that pendant...
Barragan: (speaking from behind the smoke) You are correct, shinigami. My life force was encased within that pendant. Do you honestly believe a skeleton can move on its own? How foolish!

Hachi and Soifon immediately move away from the area as Barragan releases his spiritual pressure.

Barragan: You will regret giving me this power...

The King has returned to take back his throne!! The master of time confronts the master of illusion!!


/manga end.

Who says a barrier? Why not just use a damaging kido and not a bakudo

Even a damaging kido can be aged. In his second release... he may be able to undo time as well... so undo the kido...

and everyone else is standing around him with nobody to fight.  I think I'd want to get things moving if I was the only mobile fighter left against 5+ gg fighters and several mediocre ones


this makes no sense... in that kind of situation, you would want to prolong the battle until your leaders are out of the flames...... currently there are like 6 captains out there and 3 espadas... it'd be more profitable to wait it out and let the fires burn out.....not to mention he showed his enemy what his powers are (although he might have some reserves), but his enemy hasn't showed him their bankais yet..... less profitable for him

if he kept on waiting, wouldnt the other captains just join the fight? he released, which makes the most sense, because in his released form, he has the best chance of survival. he became more powerful while continuing to fight from a distance.
