Jinbe fits perfectly in the crew. He has a unique personality and will be able to hold his own in the new world.

You guys are forgetting that the characters are MUCH more powerful now, and the enemies will be too. ANYONE who joins the crew as the 10th member will more than likely HAVE to be at or around jinbes level.

So, they could just wait and find another member, or get one who has a reason to be there, a good background (jinbes background was already explained, remember? This happens with every character who has joined the crew....) and who we know HAS the power to fight reasonably in the new world.

I thought they'd find someone in the New World that is already strong enough to hold his/her own grounds but still a rookie Level for the New World.

I dunno. It would require another long arc of explaining back story, when they already did it for jinbei

The longer the arc, the more money they can generate from readers. Seems logical. MEH
