so i think that he summoned that mask for 1 second to protect himself from the cero and it broke because he still had to wait awhile to use it at it's maximum potential again so i think it's all of our opinion that zangetsu showed up that time lol.... but after he got "stabbed" by ulquoirra, i think nel shows up and heal him that time.
