mine were already in i seen a pictuer of my case online and i was like wtf it glows there? apprently i just never ran my p ower supply cables to power them up u never woulda know there was fans there tho

my case lights up too pretty spiffy but my 31 inch tv moniter blocks me from seeing it while on my computer

No cutting a hole in my desk lol. Its a solid desk. Metal and hardwood. If I wanted to look at the lights I could always move my gaming tv off my desk and only have my computer tv but I like have them next to each other.

or buy a strobe light if I want to stare at a light the right way.
