and lament the fact that pretty much every game since has had pretty lacking bgm
even poe ost didn't really come close, although some tracks were ok

I think people make a lot of unfair comparisons w/ PoE. They have done amazing considering it was an indie studio in the middle of fuckall new zealand

sure they might, but a lot of the complaints about poe are pretty valid.
for one, the level of desynch is crippling and really just fucks any semblance of fun out of the endgame.
i really wanted to like poe, and i've oodles of respect for it's devs being so open & involved with the community. it's not so much a failing of hutchings as it is uelmen being just that awesome.
