I get Miura wanted to get some comedic relief in there, but you can hardly call Guts a lone swordsman at the point...

I think the comedy relief is a great part of berserk, Miura does it well.

However, I do agree that it gets annoying since the "gang" has been around for some time.

On the other hand, considering the difference in power... there's no way he could "lone swordsman" it up and come on top. It's just not possible for him.

Griffith and the other godhands are just too powerful to be meddled with ( that's without counting Griffith's new demon companions ).

I think the reason why most of feel this way is because... because of his inconsistent release schedule... it's doesn't just feel like it's been years... IT HAS BEEN YEARS LOL.




Also for those who didn't know yet... a new chapter of Berserk will be published in Young Animal april 11th.

I wonder how many subsequent chapters he'll be able to pump before he goes on another interminable hiatus.

I like Isidro, Serpico and Schierke. Don't really like Puck or Evarella.
The concept of needing Schierke to contain Guts' rage is awesome, imo. That's all good.

I love and hate Miura.
