Robin can basically destroy her original self and bloom anywhere she wishes pretty much right?
I didn't know how she got past the net trap but I figure that is how.

And Brooks technique of being able to control the souls was expected but adding an element charge to his weapon was pretty awesome.

i don't think destroying her original self is part of her ability.
robin is able to create a replica of a part of her body onto something else

in this case she was able to make a replica of her whole self from the ground. it turns out she can retract or undo this ability pretty quick.
before all this new world stuff she was only able to replicate her forearms because it was probably the easiest task for her
now with 2 years of training with dragon, she was probably taught some tricks in how to handle her devil fruit powers
if her replica gets damaged, she gets damaged. but how often does that happen? it's very rare since she usually finishes the job quick.

I wonder where that swamp fruit guy ends up.. he will def. play a role later on..

i was enjoying this arc but its talking a little to long imo. i wish it would move along a little faster
