I won't be surprise if the Author decides to give it both to them, considering he's starting to introduce GG characters and the Smart Brother have no other Arsenal except his cheap tricks and to be honest those won't work on higher level demons.

If I have to guess it will be: Smart Brother - Magic Base Powers mostly for Defense; Dumb Brother - Physical - Sword Base Prowess mainly for attacking (Charging in without thinking).

Oh, thats a pretty good guess though, wouldn't surprise me at all if he did that tbh. And as seeing as that guy flinched back on instinct it HAVE TO be something more then just Dumb brother seeing through his eyes, or w/e one wanna call it.
