how much akoji didnt get hurt when he got stabbed by whitebeard with haki? I know he purposely let himself get stabb so he get close to him and freeze his weapon

Anyone notice how when luffy activates armament Haki, it's black? But when Doffy activates his armament Haki, it's like purplish.

I think this has to do with eh manifestation of his "pentochromatic" attribute.

Or they just simply want 2 opposing colors.

Generally Armamanet Haki (Afaik) The Black blade (Aka any sword clad in haki). Is always Dark-Purplish black.

When a devil fruit user dies, the fruit is reborn. Im guessing they are leading us to believe the person died in Impel Down...and the fruit is reborn.

They explain this a bit in the vergo smoker fight, he says 'using your ability (logia) against a superior haki user will only make you a bigger target' implying that logia will still work as long as the person doesn't have stronger haki
Although I was expecting whitebeard to have stronger haki than the admirals but they obviously wanted to show it was about the same (with this and akoji fight) as he was old and unwell

Or my other theory was he could have saw the attack coming and used his ability to leave a gap in his body, then the attack could have passed though and the weapon frozen afterwards. Although I think the haki thing is much more likely

(Just thought maybe its harder to transfer haki into weapons so it will never be quite as much as they could gather on themselves, makes sense would be less again for range attacks like kujo arrows)
