How come nagato's hair is red, yet masashi makes it black in the manga?

I'm complaining cause all the other pein summons have the same hair color but he doesn't fill their hair with black, he just leaves it blank.

lol couldn't he use the medium shade? He does for all the flashbacks. =_=

Does anyone else love his developed style of drawing rasengan though? It's so nice, neat, compact, and really feels like a contained ball of chakra, 'naw mean?
