I get that with Vocaloids all the time, because I wear vocaloid shirts and have a Miku wallpaper on my phone ect..

Vocaloid fans and Touhou fans are a different breed it seems.

A little deeper in the culture, more mature. All tho some Touhou fans are batshit crazy.. but even when batshit crazy they seem more normal if that makes sense lol, and usually only go crazy at cons..

They are people.. with personalities, jobs, sometimes even girlfriends :O

Anime fans are just a bunch of weebs.. childish, demanding, anti social mouth breathers. weebs go crazy in the streets, at school, the mall, where ever they happen to be. I'm glad 90% of the time they are in the basement and just get stupid online.

It is shocking how different the /r/Vocaloid or /r/Touhou community is from /r/Anime or /r/awwwanime on Reddit. You would think they would be the same people or at least similar but they are two completely different environments.

/edit you know now that I think about it I have never had a Vocaloid fan say anything about me wearing a vocaloid shirt.. kinda wonder now if they just casually pass me by or if they are really rare.

I have however had many weebs ask me what anime it was and I remember every one of them.. they were all the stereotype skinny, nerdy white boy with 100 of those stupid rave bracelets or their fat bitch female counterpart.
