but i was under the impression the defense was from his mother will to protect him not his fathers doing and i thought the special sand was from Shukaku the stronger better sand and his mothers wil just used it because it was a better defense method id assume the defense is still there cause of the mothers will but not the special sand enriched with Shukaku's chakra is gone so its not an "ultimate defense" any more cause the special sand was gfg but the normal sand he controlled is weaker and slower and less durable

so sum it up he has the automatic defense still but not the gg sand any more to make the defense Ultimate

was my point the normal sand looked to break easy and was slow in speed and not as strong is what im getting at
