One piece totally blows any other manga out of the water period =\

I fucking love luffy and many others but luffy is just ridiculous.

I mean think about it we've only seen luffy beaten down to the point of actually loosing once ever..in a manga this long.

and that was after he was done fighting moria and a second shici comes in and roronoa nearly dies to keep luffy alive.

No one opponent can beat luffy

(Haha..or at least thats what they want you to think in the manga)

Though I do confess I'd love to see more in the way of doflamingo versus luffy.

The best of this chapter was/is when Whitebeard told Marco to do not let Luffy die

not to mention, it even says that the stawhats were UTTERLY defeated on the archipelago. Also, vs chief Magellan, im 99% sure that Luffy was beaten to the point of losing

but in any case my point was whenever luffy is on a team or whatever he always manages to find a way to survive and beat them at a later point usually if he doesn't during the initial fight.

even with magellan he used the candle wax gloves to knock him around a bit after he got healed.

its kind of like the retreating to live to fight another day thing..he doesn't loose E.G. Die he may get beaten to a pulp but always finds a way to get out of actually dying till he can kick their ass later.

with the exception of the fore mentioned fight..where the group had no way at all to escape and let luffy recover and roronoa had to take the punishment for him.

i mean... no MAIN (like THE main) character ever dies before the final 1-2 episodes anyways O.o

Well technically hes ALWAYS had help...luffy has never been alone.



The closest he has been to alone was when he stopped crocodile from chasing vivi and crew.


And sure enough, he should have been dead....if not for the bird guy

Also at their first match in the desert he was kinda dead but Crodo let him alive..
