Yes, the fro man. And I think Ichigo's dad used to be the 11th division Captain, the former Kenpachi. Then for whatever reason, he split from Soul Society, and a new 11th took over, who was eventually defeated by Zaraki. Either that, or like Heidtb said, Ichigo's dad used to be Zero Division.

No, the fro guy is a vaizard, not a "former espada"
Also Kenpachi KILLED the former 11th squad captain, so it wouldn't make sense if Ichigo's dad was former 11th.

Ichigos dad is classified as "Captain" Class. So he wouldn't of been in zero.

You're right about the Fro guy being a Vizard, I confused him with the disco Primavera Espada. But, if you read what I said about Ichigo's dad being the former 11th:







In that theory Ichigo's dad left Soul Society, and was replaced by a Captain whom was LATER defeated by Zaraki. Also, they never say the Captain was KILLED just beaten in an instant.

Actually, Maki Ichinose clearly stated that his beloved captain had been killed which is why he wanted revenge.

Kenpachi's entry in wikipedia to support me: He defeated and killed the previous captain of the 11th Division and thus gained his seat in the Gotei 13.

i think Ichigo's dad are the opne that got promoted
but then the Visard didn't recognise his riatsu
unless they're given new powers and riatsu once you become a Royal Guard

maybe the reason why Aizen wants to go to the Kings Palace is because of one of the former Captains owes him money?
