No one should really take offense to being hick, us educated people that enjoy doing things our selfs and live off the beaten path know the difference: thus should take no offense.
and Those who are really Hick know they are/ don't care: thus no offese.
it's not that I have anything against hicks...they don't bother me, obviously they can't I live in the city...and I don't bother them.
I just don't enjoy people making assumptions about my personality because I'm from a predominantly hick state. Having been out of state like 5 times last year, I got that a lot, lol.
From where I've been and what I've seen people seem to have pretty terrible misconceptions about being a hick, and thus treated me and my band like we were a few notches lower on the avg IQ scale.
but I have no problem with being considered a little bit hick, I guess....comes with the birth place.
