but Trace seemed like it had all the right conditions to even have just some minor romance. It just never got there.

well it isn't a romance like you are thinking. It is a school life genre which usually entails romance but I'd have to say Romance is secondary to everything that is going on atm.

Not really......I've read plenty of 'chaotic' mangas that were still able to progress character relations in addition to telling the story. They just decided not to in this one. It's not really secondary, it's like it doesn't even exist ~_~

but I do believe it will eventually head towards a straght Romance but I wouldn't consider it as one now.
