Anime should NEVER on par with manga.
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO WAIT A MONTH FOR ONE EPISODE?! OR WITH 843578374563276 FILLERS BEFORE THE REAL STORYLINE?!
Because it's not hard to use 1-4 chapters in 1episode.
If they ever go on par, they will go past and have either of the 2.
1. Their own ending.
2. Original ending and spoil the manga readers and loss of sale for mangas.
