So far this arc has been pretty meh in my opinion. Hope that it gets better.

it was all, omg dont fight hody and such then zoro wtf pwned the bitch under water then its flash backs

like the bad guys in this arc were built up and ended being trash and now its flash backs " i dont mind flashbacks but i understand a lot of people hate them"

but im expecting the bad guys to prove to be much more powerful shortly

this is an amazing arc actually, one piece is usually just wtf fight first guy you see

I like the story, that's the biggest reason I read one piece.....you guys who are like still in your teens and don't appreciate this shit, you'll have to read it again someday...

Well, first of all I haven't grown real fond of the "new" Strawhats yet which sorta makes me feel confused.

I do enjoy One Piece's story a whole bunch. Like you said, that's one of the major things about One Piece that draws you in. The fighting scenes are so-so and the artwork is unique but hardly detailed.
Just don't see where they are going with what has happened recently. Or perhaps I just can't remember
I will reread the last 30 chapters or so when I have time and see if it grows on me.

But the sole reason is that I don't like all these fishmen and fishmer. I guess that I'm just racist.

I like flashbacks as much as current storyline.

Luffy's childhood arc was one of my favorite arcs to date.

I like some diversity too though. I'm excited to see the strawhats again, I miss them.
