Like... seriously, they're coming up to the most climactic point of the series and they decide to go with fillers? Wow. Fuck that, looks like I won't be watching the Naruto anime until the war arc is over, which may or may not be the end of the series.

in the manga they fought a squid if i remember correctly.. so it wasnt entirely a filler

correct but it's still a filler for we haven't seen them at the island where they fought the squid
