But clannad/kanon etc has pretty shitty romance and the drama is generated from supernatural shit

Just finished Baccano, after seeing it rec'd a few times. It was pretty good, but I was really surpised what a "light" feeling it had considering the plot.

The timeline was weird, and made everything seem more random than it was. Overall though, it had some very distinctive/good characters and that plot wasn't bad either. Not sure I'd watch it again though, because half the fun was figuring out what was going on despite the random order it was told in. 8/10

i loved how they gave such a light feeling to such a bloody mess i cringed at some gruesome parts but i still wouldn't call it dark
watching it the second time is almost as enjoyable as the first cuz you never get that "wait wtf is going on now what happened to the plot"

I just finished Clannad After Story, amazing anime, easily top 3 on my list. However I can't decide whether the ending was great or garbage, it seems to be both for me.

Yeah, it was pretty good. I'm propably going to give it a 9 or 10. But some of the episodes were REALLY boring, even lame.

I liked this anime it was great compared to the first season of Clannad (except the fukko part)

Too bad I can't put up with mecca whatsoever
