before i start watchin i gotta ask... is it alot like full metal panic? cause i saw full metal panic till the middle n quit... i dont care much for mecha

finish up first season, so you wont miss anything, coz fumoffu is very good commedy.

but you need to watch first season to get all the plot and jokes.
