but about your last point, since it's more based on hypothetical talk then the others...

Kakashi, without a doubt, would've been able to own the living shit out of naruto at any time before the 3 years training with jiraiya, so keep that in mind wihile Kakashi had a hard time with zabuza. And Raiga was defeated by naruto, who would've been crushed by kakashi, who had a tough time with zabuza. Zabuza > Raiga yo!

kakashi never had a hard time with zabusa... he beat the living crap outta him.....

I'm not trying to deny Kakashi was stronger than Naruto. Nor am I trying to deny that Zabuza > Raiga.
However, you said Zabuza & Raiga can't be compared and I disagree.
The Seven Swordsman is an organisation consisting of only the greatest blade-wielding shinobi that the Mist can produce. You would have to agree that any member belonging to this groupd is comparable to the others.

Raiga was beaten by Naruto, Neji and Lee (who was drunk). Additionally, he was technically fighting "without his eyes" and was ultimately betrayed by his partner Ranmaru (arguable).
I think this would lend itself to the conclusion that he wasn't weak and was comparable to Kakashi / Zabuza.

Well it is kind of hard to compare. Kakashi may not have been able to beat Raiga so easily, due to the fact he wouldn't be able to copy his moves. Raiga's moves all use his swords, and even the lightning from the sky. His sharingan would be useless pretty much. Against Zabuza he was able to use it over and over.

I still think Raiga is better than Zabuza. Even Naruto was able to out smart Zabuza when he was weak as hell. And with Sasuke, they were almost able to beat Haku, who was said to be a lot stronger than Zabuza. (Naruto's Kyuubi doesn't count as beating him, so I said "almost")

Nah he really didn't. Other than that water prison, which he didn't expect, Kakashi had no problem.

First round he just copied him and raped him. Second round... can't really remember how he beat him, but I remember he didn't really try all that hard. He found a way to beat him and then just toyed with him.

He couldjn't use sharingan vs zabuza either when they were fighting on the bridgte. do you not remember how he beat him in the end?

I wouldn't say he had no problems with Zabuza lol.
The only reason Kakashi survived the first round is because of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.
Zabuza had him beat up until they intervened.

I would say they were pretty evenly matched.
