I just watched episode 230 and saw that the guy kinda has a Code Geass like symbol going on. Anyone else see that? I didn't look back and try to find a post that talked about it so sorry if this was discussed.

I have a strange feeling Yama-ji is behind all this, and since Byakuya already completed the test he has to stay away from all shinigami so he doesn't have to tell them yama-ji's plan.

Oh well thats just what i have in mind.

I think that would piss more than 1 person off if this arc didn't have any kind of point behind it :P

The point in the test would be to strenghten the bonds between the zanpakutou and their wielder.

I tried to come up with any conclusion and this one was the one that made most sense to me.

Since yama-ji and byakuya are missing, byakuya already completed the test.

then why is Byakuya's zanpakutou still around?
