Luffy didn't get much dmg except for being hit a few times w/the gold tritin. and being burnt.. the physical dmg he got may seem like a lot of but a lot of it was absorbed by his fruit... and i'd have to say that that fight was pretty logical....

also i don't know where you were looking when you say a few shots.. he knocked him twice w/no resistance at the very beginning.. then he almost knocks him out with the gomu gomu Rifle and then he uses gomu gomu ricochet... and then finally wins when he hits him with the gold ball at the end.. btw Enel almost loses consciousness once before actually losing at the end.. you have to keep in mind that Enel solely relies on his fruit and CoO.. he wasn't really physically strong.

many df users arent fyz strong. and being rubber doesnt mean, you are fyzically strong...

and i still dont understand why did the enel look at luffy when he was flying toward him with the ball. Waiting to be hit?

And luffys fysical dmg to enel was just nothing, enel could always retransform and be fine after getting hit from luffys nohaki attacks. Lets say rubber is immune to lightning. But that doesnt mean lightning is immune to rubber.He can always transform into light and make luffys attacks going through him ...

Luffy is physically strong, not because he is rubber... rubber just helps because it absorbs physical blows to some extent... and Enel can't turn into lightning in contact with rubber.. that is what he tried the first two times.. he was going to let Luffy go through him but he ended up getting hit. Also Enel can't make his damage go away.. not sure sure what you are talking about retransforming himself.. but i guess you are saying turning into lightning then back into physical form.. that doesn't make dmg go away.. Also i don't think Enel was able to teleport when he was end that form at the end.. i think he had to use all his df abilities to pull off that form at the end and was able to teleport in it.. well based on this thoughts when he said "too fast" which means he wasn't going to be able to dodge it no matter what he did.

this is ilogical. He also had mantra he could just "step back"

and aobut retransforming, all nonhaki dmg wont affect logia types. Like you smash him with the sword, they are ok, but you punch him hard, he is hurt? wtf?? I know know... rubber, but even if he can TOUCH him, he wont be able to do dmg to him even with rubber. Light cant dmg rubbers, but also rubbers cant dmg light ...

he said Luffy is moving "too fast" meaning he was gonna get there before he could move his body.. it's not the rubber that is hurting him it is the forced behind it.. he couldn't transform into lightning because of rubber meaning he was flesh and blood when he was in contact with Luffy meaning he would receive dmg.. also you have the idea about logia's wrong. haki isn't the only thing that can dmg them.. they each have their own weaknesses... water was a weakness for Crocodile.. and Enel's weakness is any insulator of electricity.

this way Luffy defeated Enel is the same as Crocodile.

Light should be faster than any type of movements ... so nn craps about being "too fast" lol

and he had mantra so he could detect luffy and knew what he was doing from so far ...

that's not how speed of lightning worked.. its not like he runs as fast as lightning... but transforms and beams himself.. which i said he probably couldn't do in the form he was in... also mantra predicts what you are going to do it is kinda obvious he was gonna get punched.. he didn't need mantra to know that.. lol.. it is just that he was movie too fast for him to dodge

I just remembered that Enel was trying to keep Luffy from ringing the bell.. so it may have been possible for him to "teleport" out of the way. his arrogance/ego just wouldn't allow it though =P

all i stated was that enel was the strongest enemy so far(on par or above the admirals)


i wish he would get back into the story, would make an epic fight for zoro/sanji
