i thought it couldn't get any worse, then i read your second part..... madara has already achieved the eternal mangekyou sharingan... he doesn't need any more sharingans....at this point, tobi is just using sasuke to help him wipe out konoha.....tobi is stronger than itachi, he could've taken itachi's eyes whenever he wanted.....and sasuke didn't get the mangekyou from itachi dying at that point... he got it after being told by tobi why itachi died, what itachi's motives were, which was the emotional stimulant needed to trigger the mangekyou
