kind of hoping this just ends up being a display of all their new powers. i really don't see how hodi and van deck would be on the same level as the strawhats tbh but will see (guess we can say hodi in water makes the fight even for him). will prolly be close fights like usual.

Yeah, hodi under water will make a pretty big difference. Plus he's not even tweaked out on pills yet and we saw the destruction he caused.

He should put up a good fight.

It's interesting how they're alluding to caribou while all this is going on, he hasn't even been reintroduced yet.

I wonder if he's just a means of framing the strawhats or if he's a bigger opponent that we thought.

I'll stick with he's just accidentally framing the straw hats for now.

spoilers are actually helpful. whether you read them before or after the chapter i think it is a good idea to read them. They provide a different translation which is actually better in some cases.
