i wouldnt mind dubbed if they didnt edit so much and just do a 1-1 conversion. thats what irritates me about dubs.

It's a problem matching lip movement so they end up adding random stuff or changing sentences completely just to match it

[rant]I hate the dubbed pleasantries (like I'm going, leaving, etc) and the names. After watching subbed for so long I like having the chan/san/sama/etc. on the end. I think it shows the relationship between the two a lot better than dubbed first name calling all day long. Plus when they meet someone for the first time in the show in dub you have no idea who they are, it's just Mr. blahblahblah, instead of like blahblahblah-sensei etc. which tells you more about the person instead of you somehow having to inherently know or find out later who they are.[/rant]

exactly. eventually you get to the point where u dont even realize your reading anymore.

same here. only dubs i can tolerate today are the series i watched in dub before i had my epiphany.
