Cant see how his ability is dangerous or powerfull in any way tho, for example Caribou seems to be way stronger imo

This is probably the worse theory ever. the fruit would be way too weak. Yes it would make Hodi a possible target but it wouldn't make Vander have to change targets from the Princess to Hodi.

Devil fruit powers work through clothes

e/ more accurate if i say clothes are considered part of your body when it comes to devil fruits. it would be kinda dumb if logias can break up into pieces and come out fully clothes when put back together but Vander's powers can't go through w/gloves on.. also VDD has an activate/deactivate fruit which means he can probably choose the people of he touched or choose to not be able to target someone. Basically it is proven that fruits are controllable. Saying that he can only aim at the last person he touched would make his fruit uncontrollable. and also does it only apply to people? if not then he last target would have been the Axe he through.


e/ if you are looking for other theories there is some like he wasn't going to stick his whole arm out the bubble and just his hand to shake hands keeping water from contacting him. and i have my own theory ofc i believe that one more now that i have seen it.. mine was this:

that theorey seems right, but then that makes him overpowered O_o we've only seen him aim at the princess for now, we can assume that at this time he can only aim at her for whatever reason

i don't think it would be that overpowered. I mean it only guarantees you hit your target if it isn't stopped before hand. I mean there has been no proof that his fruit can make him accelerate things to make them stronger than his throw. I think the fruit does 2 thiings:
1)makes things like Gravity and friction nil like you were in a vacuum. ( this keeps the weapon that was thrown at full force/same force it was thrown at)
2) Makes you never miss a target. Ofc this poses problems like is it guided where it will weave through doors ways and halls or just go at you in a straight line. We have seen both (most like was VDD who through the people into the wall. So it may be controllable to an extent. the Axe seemed guided.


I can't exactly prove against that the last thing he touches becomes the target but that would be kinda weak. and it would also introduce (i believe) the first uncontrollable fruit in the series
