I get that, but come on man... be realistic. They have a VERY vanilla formula that they've used since the 90s and they haven't changed it at all. I just don't see any chance that they randomly switch shit up now. The odds of all these universes getting erased and then goku wishing them back with the super dragon balls seems like a certain. Or, my new theory and I'm kinda liking this one more now, is that a new threat has appeared that threatens even the angels. The angels and zeno were trying to figure out a way to defeat their new foe when this idea was dropped in their lap. By threatening the existence of ALL the universes who fail, you ensure that every universe will be giving 100% percent and you don't have to worry about the strongest people holding back for fear of hurting people or w/e because they know what's at stake if they lose. Whoever wins is who the angels/zenos will pick to help them overcome this new enemy who is somehow stronger than angels and gods.

This would explain a lot. It would explain why the angels are smiling, obviously they know they're just playing everyone and that's humorous to them. Why the whole thing seems like a joke to the angels/zenos, because it is and there is no real consequence to anyone and it would also open up the possibility of Goku losing. Universe 7 could get second place, and as they're knocked out and then the tournament ends, they'll know right away that they're not being erased and the big reveal will take place. Should that happen, I think it's fair to say Goku, Vegeta and Gohan (maybe the others, we'll see, or maybe the guys from universe 6) all go train together to become strong enough to rival the Pride Troopers. They train and get super strong, only to find out that this new enemy has defeated the Pride Troopers with ez and now it's time for Universe 6 and 7 to team up and defeat this new enemy.

Decent episode. I would've like to see some type of fight sequence between she-broly & jiren, albeit [I guess] I get them continueing to build the hype that is the inevitable showdown between Jiren & Goku.

I don't think Kale is done with her Berserk Rage form yet. It looks like Caulifla sacrifices herself for Kale as Kale is crying at the same time in the purple scene which will make Kale go even crazier. Goku wasn't even flexing, he came out of that whole scuffle unphased and un scratched. That part were the Yardat was teleporting like crazy and Caulifla just kicked him away like nothing was hilarious.

Quick joke. If Caulifla and Whis did the fusion dance, what would their name be?
