Biology:

It is said that through cannibalism, a ghoul absorbs Rc cells, and this uptake of Rc cells increases their concentration within a ghoul's body. If the concentration becomes high enough, it may trigger a mutation within the cells and lead to the formation of a new kagune.

A kakuja can evolve their armor kagune further by continuing to cannibalize their kind. For instance, while the One-Eyed Owl had a human-shape and size before its disappearance, it eventually developed into a much larger and monstrous form during its attack at Anteiku.


pretty awesome that kaneki killed that guy with the OP armor.

Has he lost his humanity?

What are they fighting for exactly?

Man, a friend just told me last night that these have been going on for a few weeks. I came home to watch them and holee I'm fairly impressed.

They sure do add a lot of characters to keep things going which is nice, and a few of them are delightfully insane.

I became more of a fan of Juzo with these episodes, so much so I had to find an ava and sig of him in it.
