thats weird idk what to tell you about that avi always worked fine for me
there is another way to do it though
if u have a format converter you can just use that if your converter supports it
i use total video converter theres an option to convert video to jpg or something like that
highly suggest croping the video to like a max of 10 seconds though it will be a LOT of images and you dont want to sift through that shit
