with your theory, does it mean that ace's clothes will keep away o2 ?????
In this
cartoon sakazuki can fully become lava (clothes included) and then transform back into a human, forming his clothes once again from the lava.
In reality, the light clothes that ace likes to wear would likely just burn up.
Some of what Oda writes has to be science fiction or without explanation because otherwise his characters would be nude whenever they erupted into flame or lava.
But the rest of it is clearly explanable. Nothing what I've told you isn't a fact: Sakazuki's lava reaching higher temperatures than red / orange fire. The highly viscous lava having smothering abilities over fire (smother meaning removing oxygen supply).
These are all middle school level science explanations. I shouldn't even be debating this with you
Right back at ya unfortunately.

nope, because leather, and cotton are both oxygen permeable
and its not theory, its facts of life
This too.
We'd have to suppose (for the sake of argument) your devil fruit conveniently assumes your clothing is part of your body thus allows you to transform it at will. This could partially explain Ace's fire having a fresh supply of oxygen. Here's another thought:
ace almost isn't wearing any clothes. He's shirtless and wears loose, flowing shorts which would allow plenty of air flow.
But this point doesn't matter because we're assuming the devil fruit considers your clothes as part of your body. How else could you turn your whole body into fire or lava and then come back with your clothes fully in tact?
