Dude, nagato's vision in the past was the same as naruto's. You can't just blindly go 'AH YOU'RE THE BAD GUY YOU GOTTA DIE' he was victim to worse crimes than naruto. You have to sympathesize with someone like nagato, because he's trying to create a peaceful world too, it's just in the wrong way. The whole point of this arc is when jiraiya said "I believe in a world where everyone truly understands eachother" -- where will the story go if they can't get over some feuds, no matter how big? The plot needs to progress, and this is what it means to understand one another - overcoming hatred. Naruto and Nagato are striving to live by jiraiya's principles!
After reading the last sentence you might say "LOL pain's living by jiraiya's principles?"

but remember;  Naruto's run-in with his dad's jutsu allowed them to speak... and his dad spoke of a strong enemy, one that controlled the kyuubi...

He only said of pain that he was being controlled by this mysterious, powerful ninja (madara). He was warning naruto to face madara, not pain.
And he said pain was under madara's control. But he's not Pain anymore, he's back to being Nagato, his vision for peace once again crystal clear, not blurred by Madara's sharingan (or whatever means he used to control Nagato).

Why do you guys love shit going out in a bang? You just want fights to happen, not a care in the world as to why they're fighting? You, typical naruto fan, have a disgusting taste in entertainment, and no ability to think deeply about philosophical things; which is what naruto and nagato's fight was all about - philosophy .

And I can't stress this enough; don't forget- MADARA was in control of NAGATO, hence NAGATO was CORRUPTED and lost his WAY. Talking to NARUTO lead NAGATO to see things clear again; we KNOW nagato was under MADARA'S trance cause naruto was INFORMED BY HIS DAD OF SUCH. And his dad's obviously a very, VERY RELIABLE source of information.

Clearly some of you can't pay attention to some important details so I thought I'd make it more clear  by capitalizing some shit lol

also, learn your english skillz.  Words like WAY and OF SUCH don't need to be capitolized to prove a point, they are actually a distraction.
