Don krieg was terribad, Zoro could've killed him while Zoro couldn't even put up a fight to Mihawk.

It gets good after Logue town at around episode 60.

We didn't see mihawk fight zoro again just yet, but he met him.

Usopp do leave the group at one point, during that time he learns to be Fearless and powerful for a while, you'll see it's pretty epic.

The anime is pretty close to the manga so i don't doubt there will be a filler after the marineford arc.
