It's too grainy/dark for my taste, I feel like I'm straining to see what's happening all the time. The story could be good but they keep jumping all over the timeline and it's getting annoying

i guess you didn't like Higurashi either then...


edit: and i got boogiepop on dvd. it's crystalclear (although it's dark, but grainy? maybe the quality of your rip/stream isn't topnotch)

I've got the DVD rip

and I loved Higurashi; it went straight through time over and over, it didn't go present, 5 years ago, one month ago, 7 years ago, present, 9 years ago, one month ago 5 years ago all in one ep

I guess the story isn't bad, it's just the way they go about revealing details that bugs me.

edit: I'm gonna go finish the last 2 hours right now and I'll leave my verdict in the recently watched thread
