open both ur computers, go into network, if your on vista you should see your other computer and there will be folders and just drop shit in it

if ur with xp i dont remember cuz its been a damn while

but look for network stuff in your control panel, something called WORKGROUP probably. you can see your other PC and browse in it

go to windows media player 11
go to the library drop down arrow -> media sharing
check the share my media box
choose the device you wish to share your media to and then you can drag and drop shit over

not just vids; i got alot of documents etc

also how do you do a full system restore on vista? it only lets me do a few days (maybe weeks) back but never the full
