Bon Clay vanished after the arabasta arc (really early on). He never reappeared until recently.

We have no idea how Oda could use a Sabo return post ace's death. It could be a really interesting link to the past for Luffy.

No, I believe Sabo is still alive.

Bon Clay appeared in a cover arc that showed what happened to him after arabasta arc. That was a LONG time ago.. not soon at all... I guess if you didn't pay attention of cover stories you would think Luffy meeting Bon Clay in ID would be pretty random. And we will just have to agree to disagree on the Sabo thing.

yeah that happened alot in one piece

it's happened much less lately, pretty sure all the late teens and adults reading op in japan yelled at him enough

anyway, 99.9% sure bon clay is dead and also, according to my brother who watches the anime, they are censoring or maybe even deleting the part where whitebeard loses half his head...clearly too graphic.
