i cant tell if ur serious gon just learned his first move during greed island hes a novice and ugo was practilly a master enhancer i couldnt ask gon to know that many moves after just a few days/weeks of learning his first move

I recall it saying multiples times in the anime and manga that Ging was definitely top 5 nen users in the world. Netero also used to be top 5, but he's getting old now. None of the phantom troupe, except MAYBE chrollo could be top 5, possibly not even top 10, there are stronger ones out there that haven't been in the story yet.

If I'm not mistaken he congratulated them on completing phase 2 of the hunter exam.

But I'm not here to argue, just speculating. Anything is possible this early in the story, that goes for manga as well.

i'm guessing you didn't watch the anime/read the manga on the volleyball match.... gon would have won even if hisoka didn't return the final ball, it would have gone outside the court..... razor got outplayed and he wasn't holding anything back.

i love it when people who read the manga like to theorycraft with the people who watch the anime.... do you know what chapter it's been disproven in? i'd like to take a look

I think you are overlooking the fact that Hisoka wasn't only needed to win the match in that instant, he was a key asset for the rest of the match.

i've considered that, but I interpreted his message for that instant... either way it's part of a "shoulda, coulda, woulda" moment because there's nothing to say that gon wouldn't have found another way to beat razor even without hisoka.
