In the early 90's there were Two shows that I was looking forward to.

first one was Dragon Ball Z S1 & S2 By Season 2, I mean the Cell game, gohan going SSJ2 etcetera...
Second one was Dai no Daibouken the one that was aired in 1991, of course. the only true one for me with the bgm made by Sugiyama... (not the shitty one, the remaster, that was aired in 2020 that has no soul at all :ph34r:

PS. I'm 38 years old and I watched those episodes when they first aired up in my country in the early 90's.. (gohan SSj2 first transformation was more in 1992 for example). So i don't know about any translation for other countries at that time (even Japanese vers of dbz was totally Unknown to me at that time :P )

As for you, how old are you? and did you watch it/them when they first aired in 1991-92 too? or you did watch them on Later broadcast ? :(

I’m 31 & definitely watched these episodes as they aired on live tv! The Android/Cell saga’s will always hold a special place for me, as I thought they were so freakin good as a kid (& still are) Gohan going ssj2, the kamehameha battle versus cell, too epic

Hahaha, and you know what? I watched This episode in the old Dragon ball Z not long ago, maybe something like a week or ten days ago..
So I remember of this "formation" very well. This is very epic. For me one of the best moment in all Dragon Ball history. (especially with the old japanese voice actors) ^_^

back during middle school i remember watching dbz after school on cartoon network, which it was on the frieza saga, and at night i would switch to the international channel and watch dbz in japanese, which was at the cell saga... had no idea what they were saying but still awesome

and watched slayers and shit... was such a great time
