Mechas in itself are not realistic and look stupid, imo. I hated Code Geass's mechas, that type of action doesn't appeal to me.

Everything I've watched from this thread I've turned off 3 episodes in.

Maybe I'm just being too picky. It's either good and extremely slow, or terrible.

I'm close to just finishing Angel Beats to say I finished it... but I can't bring myself to turn it on.
