nah a lot of anime is cliche. don't try to sound smart only to look like a fool. i literally drop half the anime i watch because i've seen the same situations in different ones.

i have no problem saying that a lot of anime is cliche, in fact i completely agree. but to say "cliche is bad and steins/gate and fma are good" is nonsense.

Nobody here said cliche is bad, I said why does every anime have to be so cliche.

This includes FMA, Steins;gate, Hunter X Hunter, and literally every single one I've named. All I said was they HELD my INTEREST as they were done good and only had glimpses of stereotypical anime behavior.

This is why I said ALL of ANIME is CLICHE. They all fall into a certain category of how things play out just as Hollywood plays out movies.

And to say anime is exclusively(or as you say 99%) for children is ridiculous. That's the silliest argument I've ever seen. How one-dimensional do you think? It's to see the creativity and uniqueness that cannot be felt elsewhere.

I.E - They made Saber a girl for no reason but for fan service.

I looked past how every character is one-dimensional(unless it's convenient to the story-line/twist) as every single Anime is, and enjoyed the writing that couldn't be understood by anyone under the age of 16.

So you post a meaningless thread asking why things are cliche. This is about as stupid as asking why are all tv shows cliche? Why are all beers cliche? Why is "x" cliche?

Did you want a simple, completely obvious answer that a 5 year old can understand? Obviously with how stupid you display here, I'll be nice enough to give the simple answer any retard can understand.

Because it works and a high populace enjoys it as so no matter how the subject is repeated.

Did you not enjoy the cliche? Guess what, they don't care about the small population that doesn't enjoy it. This is why anime now is catered towards type B viewers, because they're the bigger numbers and that's more money to be made.
