plot is storyline... to say that it's deep implies complexity and an underlying reason to organization which breaks from the purpose of progression to address a deeper philosophical issue.

shows with deep plots are ones like texhnolyze, ergo proxy, baccano, gankutsuou, or house of the five leaves, you're not going to find any 100+ ep shows with a deep plot because they lack focus

just to clarify a deep plot doesn't necessarily make it good... just deep... the lack of depth doesn't necessarily make a plot bad either just created with a different purpose
and this all started because i reported how happy i was to see improvements in the production staff of an anime i enjoy
