DBZ is perfectly fine as it is , people have just fallen into the trend of "Ew DBZ OMG GOKU MISSED SPIRIT BOMB AFTER xx EPISODES OMG MY LIFE HAS NO MEANING" .

I dont quite understand why you picked these 3 of all anime...
Theyre all bad/mediocre and egdy as hell.

Because from what i've seen, these 3 are mostly the ones people talk about being bad because it didnt follow the manga. (i'm one of em)

I liked them but i thought they could have been better, and there's no doubt they are easily in the top's of most controversial animes of all time next to Naruto and NGE.
And your post is proof of that lol.

elfen lief followed the manga retty well, but stopped halfway through

literally could make a second season, and keep it in line with the path of the first and it would be pretty close to the written work.

biggest thing is who is at the door..... lucy/nyu.... aways comes up people always pick a side but go read the manga it is nyu with lucy dormant.

Ive read the first 120 chapters of Gantz it went from good to bad. It could have made a better anime but still not a good one.
Elfen Lied was ok. But from what Ive read about the manga I dont see how it could have been made better. It had a really good opening imo.
Dont know anything about Deadman Wonderland manga.
And I also dont agree that DW and Gantz are actually controversial.

Its okay, its still readable imo.
You're right, but all i wish is that they would put a better ending to explain better what happend to lucy is all.
I actually dont know 100% for Gantz, but the evidence for it is there.
Its pretty much either you like it or hate it with a passion.
Basically the same concept of Elfen Lied for that.

Since DW is fairly new, i still see alot of people argueing to why its good and why its bad.
Its like seeing Narutards argue with Bleach/One piece hardcore fans all over again.

honestly I wouldn't go with deadman wonderland, it starts off pretty good than it goes into shonnen mode where it only focuses on fighting and prolonging the story developement. You'll prob like it if ur a soa fanboy.
Elfend Lied pretty leggit show cuz nyu=waifu and pretty good sad story imo.
Gantz never seen but heard alot of hype behind as being similar to mirrai nikki.

Elfen lied is cool if youre like 14 .

Deadman Wonderland was doing just fine up until the last like two episodes , havent really read into manga .

Watched like 4 eps of Gantz today ,its not bad at all , pretty good from what ive seen so far .

Honestly there needs to be more anime like dw and gantz , you know showing how disgusting people are in a moral sense .

But that seems to make more people uncomfortable than entertained lol .

ahhh yeah thats right, they left out the human terro squad attack or what ever where they were going to use that killer lazer, and im not sure if they got into how king yama was inflating the demon attacks to make it seem like they were worse then they were.

and for some reason i also remember them all meeting up but youske was late, and that chicks all like, youske this is the end, and then he shows up and she tackles him. (in the anime)

while like youske was there fir the whole will reading in the manga, so im not even sure if they did the whole will reading for genkai in the anime.

ill have to rewatch that last episode again
