prime example is the original run of dbz, 30 episodes of fillers before any action for every saga.... that being said, i was young when it aired and could not wait for the new episode each week anyways.

Most of the things you have said are only in shitty shounen/supernatural shows. Maybe it's time watch something that has a little bit more quality.

The fact that it's nerdy and I cant let anyone find out I still watch it.

You must learn to keep your coolness/nerdyness ratio even and it won't be a problem letting people know.
