suki doesnt really mean love right?

i think it can be used either as like or love, at least from what i noticed

大好き = daisuki = big liked/favored

Some blatant obviousness ftw. Dai = big usually. Oo = also is big often.

For true "i love you", they usually say aishiteru (愛してる), which literally means "doing love"
