Honestly, I hope they do the latter with Sasuke. I think it would make perfect sense for Naruto to kill Sasuke as a way of learning a very valuable lesson: what's most important for the Leaf, on his path to becoming Hokage. As far as love goes, I'm pretty sure he's gonna end up with Hinata. I honestly would be kinda shocked if he ended up with Sakura to be honest, and I completely agree with your point.

Yeah but do you honestly believe that Naruto will kill Sasuke? I mean the WHOLE story pretty much is based on Sasuke and Naruto

Hell I don't even think that Naruto will care too much about becoming Hokage. If anything it will most likely just end up that Naruto will become hokage because he will become strongest. Not because his goal was to be Hokage but because he needed to become stronger to "save" Sasuke.

He will like default to become Hokage, or he will just turn it down because all he truly wanted was to be recognized. Manga will probably end with Naruto going off to roam the world like Jiraiya

Honestly, that would make sense but that's definitely not the way I want it to end. He seemed rather psyched to learn that he has the 4th's blood in him, so he's definitely got references. His true goal (especially after fighting Pain) is to bring about peace. If Naruto goes off on his own, I think that would be some indication that he didn't find peace even though the story will likely end with the death of Madara and possibly Sasuke. On the other hand, those 2 could die and Naruto could pull some crap like, "there will never be true peace. This is only a small victory for the world." That could prompt him to go off on his own like Jiraiya. Both endings make perfect sense in my opinion. It's up to Kishi to decide how he wants to do it though.

This actually might be somewhat how it ends. He brings peace to the world and just becomes a ronin ninja leaving behind an amazing legacy.

Yeah, any way that it ends will be disappointing lol. Ive been following naruto since like a year after it started so when it ends im just going to hate the fact that it ended.
