The translation of that line is pretty terrible. He phrases it sort of like a question; as if he is asking for confirmation. The anime translation made it seem like he was making an objective statement which is not the case. The manga translation retains the meaning much better with "Might that one be stronger than me?"

if you directly translate it sure, but he was definitely making a point that pitou was stronger than him in the manga

it was more like "how" might that one be stronger than me

if we put netero at the top70% of nen users(based on that he's half as strong as he used to be)


it wouldnt be a stretch to say that pitou was stronger than him, or that there's lots of room between the king and the best nen user, and etc etc

right, because razor is the only character that is able to improve his nen..... #logic

also if ging estimated that gon will be good enough to defeat razor, who went all out in their volleyball match, then ideally he should be much stronger than razor....if you had a brain and can notice the trend, so far, gon has been meeting stronger and stronger opponents gradually, which through several context clues, is implied that ging laid this plan out for him...if ging is last on gon's list, like he was in kite's, then presumably, ging is far stronger

i mean, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to pick up that ging is stronger than razor.. i can bet all my forum gold on it since it's that obvious...

The people complaining about Gon and Killua being too weak and always training, their hunter exam hasn't technically ended. Whether it be Ging's plan or the hunter academy in general everything that has happened to them has happened for a reason. It was mentioned before they even left the Hunter Exam in the first Arc that the true exam was just beginning. (This was kept secret from them, but nevertheless was still mentioned)

So the Queen is putting out all of these powerhouse ants now, but is the queen herself strong? I doubt she can use Nen, and she doesn't look like she can be particularly agile from the shots we've seen of her.

The hunter exam has ended... the secret portion is learning Nen. Wing congratulates Gon and Killua on completing the hunter exam when they part.
